Flooring

Hand Made Clay Flooring

Our brick flooring is unique and worlds apart from many of the thinner, imported floor tiles widely available. They are made with a 'double struck' finish to give a smooth surface on the face and can produce a buff/pinky colour similar to the old Suffolk Floor Bricks no longer in production, which cover the floors of so many of our local, beautiful old Churches, cottages, dairies, and hallways.

Our range of 'standard' flooring includes:

Red clay 12 x 12" pamment

Buff clay 12 x 12" pamment

Red clay 9 x 9" pamment

Buff clay 9 x 9" pamment

Red clay 6 x 6" pamment

Buff clay 6 x 6" pamment

Red clay 9 x 4 ½ x 2" floor brick

Buff clay 9 x 4 ½ x 2" floor brick

We have also produced octagonal pamments with brick infills; again, any size variation can be considered. Our brick floors have been used in St Paul's Cathedral (crypt), St George's Chapel, and Windsor Castle.

The distinct cream, buff, and pink range of colours soon weathers to create a good match for conservation and restoration purposes, as well as enhancing new build projects.
